JT unknowingly began his career in radio by competing in a Krispy Kreme doughnut-eating contest as an intern in his hometown of Flint, Michigan where he was crowned runner-up. Two years later he was interviewing the bassist from Metallica. Life can be weird. But outside of radio he can be found roaming the streets of Soulard, usually enjoying beef brisket birrias at Mission Taco Joint, watching Carp hit walk-offs at DB’s Sports Bar, or enjoying brunch and a City Wide on the patio at Molly’s. Oh! And the St. Louis Slinger from Courtesy Diner on Hampton. Add jalapeno, and then Prilosec OTC. You can hear JT weekdays from 9am-2pm on New Country 92.3.
