BIG 3: Cardinals Legend Lou Brock Passes, Wildfire Started by Gender Reveal & “Telephone Tuesday”

1. The St. Louis Cardinals are mourning the passing of former player Lou Brock.  The Hall of Famer died over the weekend at the age of 81 after being in ill health.  He played 19 years for the Cubs and the Cardinals, collecting three-thousand-23 hits, batting .293, and driving in 900 RBI.

2. Will the family face charges…still remains to be seen. Fire officials say the family tried to put the flames out themselves before calling 911 from El Dorado Ranch Park on Saturday. Cal fire also says the family is “absolutely cooperating” and any possible charges would be filed by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.

3. Did you know the day after Labor Day was a holiday? Any slacking off for the summer is over and now it’s the sprint until the holidays. The day after Labor Day is known as “Telephone Tuesday” . . . the day with the most business phone calls of the year.
