JT’s Five Country Songs To Drink To On Cinco de Mayo

Every May 5th I like to remember and celebrate the Mexican army’s victory over the French in 1862. Well, it starts out that way (not really), then I don’t usually remember much of anything after that. Truth be told, I’m not much of a tequila guy. I can think of a hundred different liquors I’d choose if I had the choice over tequila, unless it’s the good stuff.

That’s not going to stop me from picking up a sixer of Corona or Dos Equis and honoring this great holiday with my favorite country songs. After all, why listen to anything else when these fine gentleman wrote about it best? Here is a list of my favorite country Cinco de Mayo country songs. Enjoy and stay thirsty, my friends. @Radio_JT
